COVID-19 update - January 2022
The .gov.uk guidance for the safe use of places of worship has been updated with the following statements:
From 27 January: There is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering.
The government suggests that you continue to wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you may come into contact with other people you do not normally meet.
We are a large gathering of people every Sunday morning, and at times through the week, so our guidance to attendees remains the same: we continue to encourage the wearing of masks or visor during worship services and when moving around corridors in church. If your smaller group (such as Sew ‘n’ Sews or Ladies Link) collectively decides to remove masks while you’re in your meeting, that’s fine.
We'll continue to offer masks and encourage hand hygiene at entry points.
